The University of Arkansas at Monticello is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, theCouncil for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) (formerly National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education), the National Association of Schools of Music, theAccreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, (formerly National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)), the Society of American Foresters, the Council on Social Work Education, the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), and the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

Technical programs have been approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education, and the Arkansas Department on Human Services.

The University offers technical certificates, associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degree programs.
