Welcome to Computer Information Systems

The School of Computer Information Systems offers two options for their Bachelor of Science degrees. Students may major in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science.  Students majoring Computer Information Systems may specialize in cybersecurity or programming. An Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems is available for students interested in a two-year program.  We also offer a 15-hour Certificate of Proficiency and a 30-hour Technical Certificate option. A minor in Computer Information Systems is available for students in other majors who have an interest in computer information systems. An Advanced Certificate in Computer Information Systems is available for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree in another discipline.

The University of Arkansas at Monticello and National Park College have partnered to bring the Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Sytems to Hot Springs.

The curriculum is designed for persons to obtain an Associate of Science in STEM  degree at NPC, complete upper-level UAM classes at NPC, and receive a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information with a concentration in cybersecurity from UAM. This partnership allows all four years of the bachelor's program to be offered on the NPC campus.
