About UAM Esports

The University of Arkansas at Monticello Varsity Esports provides students with competitive and educational experiences through gaming.

Mission

Create opportunities for our esport athletes to compete, engage and grow, while providing a diverse gaming culture at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Weevil Esports Varsity teams compete against other collegiate teams across the United States and Canada in dedicated collegiate leagues. Varsity players represent UAM at the highest gaming level and team positions are competitive.

Weevil Esports is competing in the NACE Starleague. The home of esports at the collegiate level.

UAM currently offers a variety of scholarships that can help those interested in esports attend the university. For more information, please contact Coach Devin Burton. Esports at the University of Arkansas at Monticello provides an opportunity for students to enjoy playing video games in competition with each other.

UAM’s affordable tuition and diverse academic offerings create an attractive option for anyone interested in gaming culture and developing skills for a future career. UAM’s Esports program provides innovative ways for students to become active in an inclusive campus community and a healthy outlet for esports participants.

In addition to other UAM Scholarships, UAM Esports offers scholarships up to $1,500 a year to help cover the costs of college. Esports scholarships are awarded considering the student's financial aid, game/rank/role, GPA, and team needs. Scholarships are determined at the beginning of every fall semester. The guidelines below show how we use your game/rank/role to determine an esports scholarship.
