Bio:
Quantel Williams grew up in the Brazos Bottom of Branchville, Texas. Quantel is a
two-time East Texas Baptist University graduate in Marshall, Texas. He earned his
Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Christian Education and Youth
Ministry in 2018. Quantel recently finished his Master of Arts degree in Theological
Studies in May of 2020. He decided to press on and pursue his educational specialist
degree and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Regent University. Quantel
earned his Educational Specialist degree in December of 2021. He plans to wrap up
his Doctor of Education degree this Fall. Quantel is also a part-time auxiliary police
officer for the State of Arkansas. In addition, Quantel has been a licensed and ordained
minister of the Gospel since 2014.
Quantel has worked in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, since 2018 at Ouachita Baptist University
and has served in multiple roles as Resident Director, Discipleship Coordinator, and
Police Office. Before coming to Ouachita Baptist University, Quantel served for three
years in Residence Life at East Texas Baptist University. Quantel worked in Student
Development as Director of Residence Life and Adjunct Professor in the Pruet School
of Christian Studies for 5 years. Quantel also juggles serving on the Clark County
Historical Museum Board, Ouachita Baptist University Multicultural Advisory Board,
and is a member of the Association of Christians in Student Development. When he is
not working or doing ministry in his downtime, he enjoys going on hikes, biking, and
doing carpentry work. We are proud for Quantel to be the next Director of Residence
and Housing and Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Arkansas Monticello.
