UAM Bands and Choirs Announce Fall 2024 Performances
The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) Division of Music has announced the performance schedule for its bands and choirs for the fall semester.
The UAM “Pride of Southeast Arkansas” Boll Weevil Marching Band will perform at home football games on Sept. 5, Sept. 19, Oct. 12 (homecoming), Oct. 19, Nov. 2 and Nov. 16.
Jazz Night, featuring UAM Jazz One and UAM Jazz Band II, will be held on Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center.
The UAM Music Theatre Workshop will hold its student recital on Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center.
UAM Percussion Night will be held on Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center.
The UAM Woodwind Ensembles Recital will be held on Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Harris Recital Hall in the Music Building at UAM.
The SEARK Event “How Sweet the Sound,” featuring the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and the UAM Concert and Chamber Choirs, will be held on Nov. 17 in the UAM Fine Arts Center. The performance time will be announced at a later date.
The UAM Concert and Chamber Choir Concert will be held on Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center.
The Weevil Wonderland Holiday Concert, featuring the UAM Concert Band and UAM Jazz One, will be held on Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center.
