The Division of Music at the University of Arkansas at Monticello will host the Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble, which features members of the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, on Thursday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center. The concert, part of UAM Jazz Week, is free and open to the public. Ticket reservations are required.

The Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble, composed of professional enlisted U.S. Air Force musicians, will perform a diverse repertoire of styles, ranging from big band swing to patriotic selections. The ensemble, which has backed jazz legends like Jamey Aebersold and Joe Morello, will showcase both contemporary and classical works. All pieces will be performed by American Airmen, embodying the legacy and honor of the U.S. Air Force.
