Intramurals

The Intramural program provides an opportunity for all current UAM students*, faculty & staff to participate competitively in a wide variety of sports and special events. A complete listing of the sports and special events offered each semester, Intramural Sports & Special Events. Answers to frequently asked questions are a click away, IM FAQ’s. Rules and regulations regarding Intramural eligibility and sportsmanship are designed to ensure fun and equitable participation. IM Rules/Regulations are available in blackboard.

Some restrictions apply to current & former intercollegiate team members.

Campus Recreation

For those current UAM students, faculty & staff interested in pursuing less organized recreational activities, the UC Rec Areas located on the lower level of the John F. Gibson University Center, maintain open rec hours for drop-in use. A variety of Outdoor Activity Areas available on campus provide ample opportunity to engage in outdoor recreation.

How to Enter

Entries for all Intramural sports and special events are submitted online @ IMLeagues.com. Registering is quick and easy and FREE!

Once your account is created you can check registration deadlines for each sport and enter a team, join a team or sign-up as a free agent.

The UAM Great Student Body Program 

50, 75, or 100 Mile Club

Walk, jog or run your way to a great UAM student/faculty/staff body and earn a Great Student Body t-shirt! Sign up in the Intramural & Recreation office. Participants must record weekly mileage on the chart posted in the IM/REC office. Note: Mileage must be completed during the semester to receive t-shirt. Participation is open to all current UAM students, faculty & staff however, athletes may not count their work-outs as mileage. Athletes may run additional recreational miles. YES! Miles completed on treadmill, Stairmaster, etc. count toward total miles. Weevil Pond Walk is 4/10 mile around Weevil Pond.(2.5 laps = 1 mile)
