Artist INC Express, a hands-on career development workshop for artists of all skill levels and disciplines, will be held at the University of Arkansas at Monticello on Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, March 9, from 12 to 5 p.m. in the Gibson University Center Caucus Room.

The workshop is organized by the Mid-America Arts Alliance, in partnership with Arkansas Arts Council.

Led by experienced working artists, this two-day, ten-hour workshop will address key challenges that artists face in their careers. Through discussions, activities and exercises, participants will establish goals, reflect on their work and develop their personal brand. A condensed version of the eight-week Artist INC Live program, the workshop will cover the same core concepts in a more flexible format, making it accessible to a broader range of artists. Exercises will build on one another, fostering peer connections, active participation in group discussions, hands-on exercises and small group work, while also activating a supportive artist network within the community.

The workshop is free, and lunch and supplies will be provided. Artists who are 18 years or older and live within a 75-minute radius of Monticello, Arkansas, are eligible to attend. Space is limited, and an artist must register by Thursday, March 6, at 5 p.m. To register or view the workshop schedule, visit the Mid-American Arts Alliance website.
