Bio:
Dr. Djamali Muhoza is an assistant professor of Chemistry here at UAM. He is also the director of the Research Programs for Minority Students.
“Classes I teach her eat UAM are Biochemistry I and II, Biochemistry Lab, Intro to Organic and Biochemistry, Intro to Chemistry, and Introduction to Research and Critical Thinking.”
“My research focuses on small molecule drug discovery targeting RAS proteins. I use both computational and biophysical methods to design and test these drug candidates. Currently, I am exploring the potential of new computational tools, such as AI, in drug discovery. In my free time, I create educational science videos and enjoy running and painting.”
