Bio:
Dr. Ed Bacon is Professor Emeritus of Biology and is also the director of the Turner Neal Museum.
“Here at UAM, I teach Intro Biology, Zoology, Herpetology, Ichthyology, Marine Biology, and Aquatic Biology. I have also taught Concepts of Watershed Management for the College of Forestry, Agriculture, and Natural Resources. However, my favorite courses to teach are Aquatic Biology, Ichthyology, Marine Biology, and Zoology.”
“My research interests are environmental ecology, aquatic ecosystems, and biodiversity.”
“My favorite part of my favorite job are the class field trips around Arkansas, to the Gulf Coast Research Lab, to the Gulf of Mexico, and Florida.”
