Welcome to the University of Arkansas at Monticello Foundation Fund


The University of Arkansas at Monticello Foundation Fund, a subsidiary of The University of Arkansas Foundation, Inc., is committed to providing educational opportunities for students in the state and region. Its purpose is to advance and support educational and other activities of UAM by soliciting donations and acting as coordinator of gifts for the use and benefit of the University. During the 14/15 school year, the UAM Foundation Fund awarded 657 private scholarships totaling $481,601.

The University of Arkansas at Monticello Foundation Fund was created in 1980 to provide a margin of excellence for the University's academic programs and ensure educational opportunity for future generations of students.


Contributions to the UAM Foundation Fund may come in the form of cash gifts, appreciated property, tangible personal property, stock, charitable remainder trusts, charitable remainder unitrusts, annuities, wills, and life insurance. 

While the Foundation welcomes donations of any amount, the University of Arkansas Foundation, Inc., has established minimum levels of funding for certain endowment accounts as follows:

Annual Award              $5,000
Scholarship                  $15,000
Lectureship                  $50,000
Named Professorship   $250,000
Named Chair                 $1,000,000

Membership levels in the UAM Foundation Fund are divided into the following categories:

  • Century Club - $100-199
  • Loyalty Club - $200-499
  • Emerald Club - $500-999
  • Galaxy Club - $1,000-2,499
  • Unity and Movement Club - $2,500 and above

Any gift to the UAM Foundation Fund may be directed to a specific area or may be designated as "unrestricted."
