In honor of Social Work Month, on Wednesday, March 19, the Department of Social Work at the University of Arkansas at Monticello will host the Celebrating Social Work: Compassion + Action Lunch-N-Learn from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Gibson University Center Capitol Room. The event will include a catered lunch and will feature a proclamation by Monticello Mayor Jason Akers and a guest lecture by Delories Williams, founder of Delories Williams Consulting and Training and instructor emeritus for the School of Social Work at the University of Southern Mississippi.
