UAM Names 12 to 2024 Homecoming Court
Twelve women have been named to the 2024 Homecoming Court at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The 2024 UAM Homecoming Queen will be selected by a vote of the student body and announced during a pre-game coronation ceremony on October 12 prior to the 2 p.m. kickoff of UAM Football's homecoming game against Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
The members of the court include Shehna Akbary, Kaylyn Faith Dixon, Maguire Estill, Lexie Ruth Freeman, Emma Green, Jayden Grider, Magan McClain, Maddie Pfleging, Precious R. Thomas, Chandler Weast, Landen Elizabeth West and Olivia Wilson.
Kaylyn Faith Dixon, of Woodlawn, Arkansas, is a junior K-6 elementary education major and the daughter of Shane and Christie Dixon. She is a member of the UAM Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and UAM Kappa Delta Phi honor society and a student worker for the School of Computer Information Systems at UAM.
Maguire Estill, of Haven, Kansas, is a senior exercise science major and the daughter of Dan and LaNette Estill. She is a student athletic trainer and student worker for UAM Athletics, a member of the UAM Pre-Professional Club and a former member of the UAM Exercise Science & HPE Club and UAM Softball. She has earned a certificate of proficiency in Emergency Medical Technician from the UAM College of Technology-McGehee.
Lexie Ruth Freeman, of Hamburg, Arkansas, is a senior accounting major and the daughter of Jason and Tabitha Freeman. She is president of the UAM Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, president of UAM Ambassadors, academic leader and member of UAM Cheer and a member of the UAM Accounting Society.
Emma Green, of Rison, Arkansas, is a junior accounting major and the daughter of Corey Green and Sally Spruell. She is vice president of the UAM Investment Club, a member of the UAM Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship and a student worker for University Advancement and Alumni Engagement at UAM.
Jayden Grider, of Warren, Arkansas, is a junior agriculture (animal science) and pre-veterinary double major and the daughter of David and Adriana Grider. She is president of the UAM Pre-Vet Club and a member of the UAM Collegiate Cattlemen’s Association and UAM Collegiate Farm Bureau.
Magan McClain, of Sheridan, Arkansas, is a senior biology (organismal) major and the daughter of Keith and Millie McClain. She is vice president of the UAM Residence Hall Association, a resident assistant for Housing and Residence Life at UAM, a teaching assistant for the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences at UAM and a member of the UAM Biology Club and UAM Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship.
Maddie Pfleging, of Waco, Texas, is a senior exercise science major and the daughter of Dan and Sue Pfleging. She is a member of UAM Softball, the UAM Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and UAM Exercise Science & HPE Club.
Precious R. Thomas, of Banks, Arkansas, is a junior nursing major and the daughter of Damian Thomas and Catrina R. Tatum. She is president of the UAM Student Activity Board, a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard, a teaching assistant for the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences at UAM and a resident assistant for Housing and Residence Life at UAM.
Chandler Weast, of Star City, Arkansas, is a senior health and physical education major and the daughter of Starsky and Deanda Weast. She is a member of the UAM Baptist Collegiate Ministry leadership team and a former member of UAM Softball and the UAM Exercise Science & HPE Club.
Landen Elizabeth West, of Warren, Arkansas, is a senior nursing major and the daughter of Jason and Laura West. She is a member of the UAM Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, Arkansas Nursing Students Association, UAM Student Nurses Association and a student representative for UAM School of Nursing Curriculum Committee.
Olivia Wilson, of Monticello, Arkansas, is a senior K-6 elementary education major and the daughter of Jeremy and Rachel Wilson. She is president of the UAM Kappa Delta Phi honor society, co-president of UAM Ambassadors and a member of the UAM Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority.
