• What to know before you start:
  • Be prepared to spend 45 minutes to an hour to complete your application.
  • You might need your high school counselor's contact information.
  • A copy of your transcript can be helpful. You do not need a letter of recommendation or a personal essay.
  • You will need to answer the University of Arkansas at Monticello's questions in addition to the Common App questions.
  • There is no application fee to submit your application. 

• Please submit an official high school transcript.
• Please be aware that if you submit your high school counselor as a recommender, they can submit your transcripts for you. Therefore, you will not need to submit the transcripts.
• Paper transcripts can be mailed directly from the high school or brought in an envelope sealed by the high school to:

• Electronic transcripts can be requested through one of the following services:

  • National Student Clearinghouse

• If prompted for a recipient email address when ordering your transcript, please use admissionsoffice@uamont.edu. Transcripts sent directly through email or fax will not be considered official.
• If you have taken the GED exam in place of a high school diploma, please have your official GED scores sent directly from the GED website.
• 7-semester high school transcript, transcripts from all colleges attended (Early Admissions)

Applicants who have the option of submitting (ACT, SAT, or ACCUPLACER) scores and would like them to be considered are encouraged to send these scores as soon as possible when applying.

• Students applying by the December 1 early action/scholarship deadline must have their official test scores in their admissions file by December 1 for us to guarantee their consideration.
• Students applying rolling for the Fall 2023 term (I.e., after December 1) will have 30 calendar days from when they submit their application for us to receive their SAT or ACT for consideration. Any files, however, that do not have test scores received by the application deadline of April 1 may be reviewed without test scores.
• Students applying rolling for the Summer 2023 term (I.e., after December 1) will have 30 calendar days from when they submit their application for us to receive their SAT or ACT for consideration. Any files, however, that do not have test scores received by the application deadline of March 1 may be reviewed without test scores.
• Students applying rolling for the Spring 2023 term will have 30 calendar days from when they submit their application for us to receive their SAT or ACT for consideration. Any files, however, that do not have test scores received by the application deadline of November 1 may be reviewed without test scores.

If you have changed your mind after submitting your application about whether or not you would like your test scores considered, please contact your admission counselor letting them know your name, UNID, and the change you would like to make. If you are requesting to now have your test scores considered, you will be held to the timelines listed above.
